- ½ cup heavy cream

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the crust:
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix until the dough comes together.
- Shape into a disc, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim and crimp edges.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the sausage and onions:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, breaking it apart.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Drain any excess grease.
Assemble the quiche:
- Sprinkle the shredded cheeses over the crust.
- Evenly distribute the cooked sausage and onions on top.
Prepare the egg mixture:
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
